Deadlines to vote in California for the 2020 Presidential Election are rapidly approaching. Are you registered to vote in San Marcos for Vallecitos Water Board, state and local policies, and your national representatives? California Governor Signs N-64-20
Pursuant to Executive Order N-64-20, all registered voters will be sent a vote-by-mail ballot for the November 3, 2020, General Election. Registered voters do not have to apply for a vote-by-mail ballot for this election. Instead of going to the polls on Election Day, you may vote using the vote-by-mail ballot that will be sent to you. Voter Materials Mailed in California
Voter materials are mailed 29 days before the election.
If you want to change your address, name or party, it takes 2-4 weeks before you will receive your new voting material. You can request to do that by completing a new registration application here: https://registertovote.ca.gov
MON OCT 19
Last Day to Register to Vote in California
If you are registering or re-registering less than 15 days before an election you will need to complete the Same-Day Voter Registration process and request your ballot in person at your county elections office or polling location. California In-Person Polling Locations Open
In-person polling places will be at a 1 per 10,000 voters ratio
California In-Person Polling Locations will be open from 10/31 - 11/2
for at least 8 hours per day
Ballot drop off locations will be 1 per 15,000 voters and be open no later than 10/6 at 9:00 am for at least 12 hours per day through 11/3
